Our team is helping with the Credential Transparency Description Language (CTDL), an open schema for credentials and competencies. The CTDL promotes collaboration and harmonization across initiatives that are developing data models, vocabularies, and schemas related to the major credential properties based on the principles of Linked Data. Along with CTDL the Credential Engine Registry (CER) is intended as an open metadata registry. Partners are helping to design and test these technologies to capture and connect credential and quality assurance information and competency frameworks.
