Hello! I'm Doug Belshaw. You might know me as someone who's spent a lot of time thinking and promoting ideas around digital literacies (the subject of my doctoral thesis) and Open Badges (I was on the original Mozilla team). These days, I work with my We Are Open Co-op colleagues. We help organisations embrace transparency and openness which, of course, is a great fit for using badges to recognise development.
